By default auto-updates are turned on so your workstation always has the latest updates installed. If you download and install the updates, keep in mind that a reboot of your system might take longer than normal.

To check if there are Windows Updates you can perform the following actions:
- Click the Start button
- Type “windows update”
- Click “Windows Update settings”
A new dialog appears. Click “Check for updates”.
If there are updates available you will have the option to click “Download”.
